I calculated 2200€ for the device, plus shipping. This includes the „luxury“ version (additional 16-char All Operator dials and 8 volume sliders) and the MIDI merger for the keyboard input. Also included are one or two video meetings for questions and answers about the usage.
If shipping outside the EU, you have to add customs duty when you receive the parcel. I will ask you to transfer 50% in advance before I order the materials and the remaining 50% before shipping.
I guess to build one unit the month. They will be shipped in the order as I got the reservations from you.
Edit: The orders for the first batch are done, I closed the first batch reservations. If you are interested, I could put you on the waiting list, if one of the lucky purchaser would cancel the purchase.
Edit: I currently am thinking about a 2nd batch, as there are many interested people on the waiting list. The reason why make some copies was not to make a fast buck, but to spread this remarkable devices to some other interested FM enthusiasts. However it is really a lot of manual work to build this device –

I am sad to hear, I did re-try as GalaxiesMerge but I guess I will have to buy one from one of your friends. Cheers. I realize that buying is not available since your batch is done (at abut 2K) but I thought I would mention it anyway since market demand = price (most of the time but not always. This happens to be how the good stuff gets a longer life :). If someone wants to sell me theirs, I can offer more than 2K. Cheers! I am on vacation from now until Jan 16th. Perhaps charge 4K per order?

That is for me, to create the desire to program complex FM synthesis without a computer or a painful reduced interface. I want one. I sold my FS1R due to torment of using it beyond presets. And miss it every day, esp. since Yamaha bailed on a FS1R mode for their new FMX keyboards. Wah. Well employed in California USA, and would love to get one of these. „Reasonable“ cost not an issue (I’m 59, not 19) 😉
